So this girl I've met LOVES talking on the phone for HOURS. Personally, I am not a big phone person. I like conversations like "hey, I'll pick up the chips, see ya, bye."

So.. should I deal with it if I like her. And two, will it probably die down in the future?

Yes and that is good... its the phone that is too much. Also the text messages.
 
I am not a phone guy either... I'd rather just be doing something with the person or killing time with buddies/doing something productive.
 
How much do you like her? If you like her enough you will deal with it, if not then you will probably stop answering your phone.

You could try making an excuse about having to leave at a certain before it gets to that time.

Example: Its 4:40.
Her: Hey, how are you doing?
You: Doing decent i guess but, i have to go do XX at 5.
 
No don't deal with it now, because you'll get sick of it and start treating her like crap. No it won't die down in the future.
 
i am in the same boat. I hate talking on the phone, she calls every night.

it got to where she would call and i wouldn't answer. More often than not she would just drive over to my house if i did that :~( .
 
it's good to get off the phone as soon as you're done with your business, makes them wanting you more and wondering what the heck you're doing all the time.
