its actually pretty good. It sounds like rap but its rather melodic. I wish I had a link to the mp3 though.
 
sigh, people so quick to judge. I'm usually not a fan of rap/R&B. In fact I mostly listen to Led Zepplin/ Pink Floyd. But some rap/R&B is ok. This happens to be one of the songs that I heard on the radio that I like. People should give things a try before criticizing.

I agree. After watching the video and hearing his voice, I can't help but feel irritated. It's a decent song, but the voice gets to me.

Same goes for Adam Duritz. Everyone tells me he's a great singer/songwriter, and that Counting Crows is spectacular, but I can't get past how his voice sounds so whiny to me. Am I a bad person for not liking his music?

Nope, you're not a bad person for not liking either Eamon's nor Duritz' music, that's just you're personal preference. More power to ya.

I get hassled for not being irritatied by Macy Gray's scratchy and high pitched singing voice. I think she rocks (or rather, did rock.)
I also get hassled by my musician friends that I don't appreciate Hendrix' guitar work but I'm totally enamored, admire and see the genius in his lyrics. I'm more focused on his lyrics than his guitar skills, but that's cuz I'm just ignant on how to play the guitar.

My 2 cents.

grrr .. i had a listen to his whole album ... i feel .. terrible that some company took money and time to promote and sign this idiot. stop the madness.
 
He was interviewed live by Z100 here in NY on the morning show. He said he was just pissed one night after finding out his ex-gf cheated on him... wrote the song and woke up his parents in the next room so they can hear it.. they realized it would be a good song and the rest is history. Anyway, he sounded like your avg. kid who got lucky with this. He sounds no smarter or more successful than you or I... and the song is annoying as farking hell just like everything else they play 53 times a day.
