Send her a certified letter asking her if she'll go steady with you. Or even better, an overnight via UPS or FedEX so you can track the letter online. And make sure you include a pin of some type.Originally posted by: ghost recon88
So, tomorrow night, I'm picking her up, and am gonna ask if "we are a couple?" or "will be you be my gf?" or something along those lines. I'm not sure yet. Anyways, my friend suggested I get her a stuffed animal, one of her favorite animal, then put a note in it's paws or flippers, and give it to her as that. Now, from what I've heard from many sources (including her best friend), it's a guranteed KO. So my question is this, what would be a nice cute way of writing "will you be my gf" without writing it that way? BTW, in case anyone was wondering, the animal is a shark.

It's more work than necessary since a stuffed animal isn't going to be a deal breaker on something like this. But it's a nice gesture

yope, so I'll just give her the stuffed animal, and ask the question verbally, case closed.
Verbally or written it's not necessary. If you keep asking her out and she keeps saying yes, then she's yours. There doesn't need to be any formal "will you be my girlfriend?" moment. If you want to give her a gift, that's great, but skip the question altogether.

I disagree. When I first started dating a woman, I would never be exclusive to her until she and I discussed it and agreed to it.
At that point, she was my girlfriend. Before then, though I would still date other people.
I am married now with two children and have been with the same girl for 11 years so my opinion is a little dated.

sry, not pop the question as in marriage, and for the record, I'm 18, and she's almost 17.
