What should i get my GF for our six month anniversary? I was thinking jewlery, but she's allergic to everything except white gold and surgical steel. I don't want to get her anything made of surgical steel and I'm under the impression that white gold is kinda expensive. I'm not looking to spend more than $100, and sentimental value beats monitary value any day. I'm pretty unoriginal as far as gifts are concerned, I'm better with the fancy dinner/fun weekend type stuff.

Any suggestions?
 
Shoes or clothes of her choice.

Take her to a mall or something (make sure she doesn't clue in that it's for her birthday) and when she goes 'Oh, I like that!' buy it right away if it's in your price range.

You don't need to worry about what to get her. She gets what she wants. You get laid. Win-Win situation.
 
I got her a small christmas tree, something that we can keep adding ornaments to it for years to come. It's still here, tall and strong (plastic one of coz) after 6 years with dozens of ornaments we got all over the world

Actually white gold is not that expensive.....

 
Actually, white gold is cheap. It's a platinum look a like. It's gold plated with Rhodium (I think), which must be re-plated every couple years to retain its luster.
 
There's no such thing as a six-month anniversary. How about you show her you really care by doing something romantic for no reason at all, not because you've been together for some arbitrary length of time.
 
Well that weekend she's on vacation down the shore anyway and I'll be there. Fancy dinner falls victim to a fun dinner after the beach, but its all good. She got me something already (apparently I asked for something?) so getting her a gift is a must IMO.

If white gold is not expensive does anyone have good taste in jewlery?

Its not like I don't do romantic things otherwise, but its nice to have an occassion to celebrate as well.

She got you something for doing nothing?!! Free Pass! And you feel obligated to get a gift for her? Just enjoy the free gifts while they last until she complains. After that get her an iron and tell her to iron your shirts.

Her family goes to Wildwood every year. Not my favorite beach but still a fun time. My aunt just bought a $1mil+ house in Long Port so I expect to be spending most of my shore time there very soon 😀

anyways....get her something like a gift certificate to a day spa so she can pamper herself all day.

It will leave her feeling sexy and thats always a good thing for you.
 
What I did for our 1 year anniversary, many years ago, was really cheesy and stupid, but it worked and made her happy. All I did was take time to write 1001 things I love about the girl, and i bound it like a book, put a picture on front. Cost? Paper, ink, picture, and about 3 days time (1001 things is a lot of things). 67 pages and I was set (double spaced).
