From the start of things, I met this girl at a party at my dads friends house. We have been talking ever since and she calls me atleast once a day, if not more. We've gone out a few times but not as a couple, just as friends. She has hooked up w/me many times. The thing that is confusing me is that she has a boyfriend and she still calls me and flirts with me for hours at a time on the phone. I'm quite amazed on this, because she says she loves her boyfriend but at the same time shes saying she loves me. Do you think anything will ever happen between us or am I just wasting my time. I think I'm wasting my time.... comments?

Sounds like you're in the friend zone to me. If you're only interested in a relationship then you should probably move on.
 
You are a tool.

You are the one that is going to get kept around on the side for her fancy, and when it is all said and done she runs back to her boyfriend.

Either have her split up with him and come to you, or break it off with her.

Otherwise you suck at being a man and don't mind getting played for a fool.
 
When you say "hooked up w/me many times" are you saying you had sex? If so she's a skank and would probably sleep around behind your back if you ever became a couple.

I didn't notice the hookup statement in the OP. In that case you might be able to get into the friends with benefits zone which is far better. 😀

As long as you have a clear understanding that if you get together with this girl, it's very likely she'd end up doing exactly the same thing to you.. go for it, I guess.

she wants you. I have the same situation, except lil farther down the road:

I just got with a girl that i was flirting and what not for about a year (we were/are really tight friends ... pretty much beyond what you would consider appropriate for friends) . Shes had a boytfriend for about 2 years now and i think she still does (?). I went out with her to see a movie and hung around her house and all... Plus she spent the night on friday. Needless to say im verry happy 🙂 (shes awesome... :heart: )


But yeah dude if theres a will theres way, I would set up something where its just the 2 of you and just have ton of good time (somethign romantic more than just friendly) and at the end just ask her whats going on (and lay out out flat..you wanna be with her and what not if the timing is right). If shes into you, she'll be all yours. Good luck and dont give up!


EDIT: I would ignore vast majority of responses from here though, about 90% of people on anandtech have no human interaction skills...
