ok umm i guess this isn't a dating thread but please help...

this girl in my class like we talked quite a bit... got her number and i do actually find her attractive. obviously something was up today since she lost her friendliness and seemed to be somewhat upset. Having a recent depression over a lost of a good friend, i really don't want anyone i care about to be upset and i want to be there to help. the problem is i don't even know what's going on and she seems to be reluctant to talk about it....

If something is upsetting her, she may not be receptive to romantic advances.

Good advice... let her know you're there if she wants to talk but don't try to force anything on her.

Yes just ask her. Be warned though - she might not be able to be open with someone she doesn't know that well. If she refuses to tell you just let her know that she can talk to you about whatever's bothering her if she wants
