But they aren't the same price. The Filipino 1911's are half the cost.
Academy Sports has the Citadel 1911 9mm on sale for $329.99, right now.
your missing the gunsmith costs to fit everything. and i would take my Dan Wesson over the 2 Kimbers it cost me
Who makes Citadel? Is it Armscorp? Or Metro? Would have to be one of those, I'd think.

I finished up building my 1st AR last night. (still needs sights and optics) Probably gonna go MBUS Pros and co-witness with a Primary Arms M4 Clone. Can't wait to get out to the range and run some ammo through it!

238, lighter recoil than the 938 that I carry...tried to get her to step up but it kicked just a little too much(2/9)38?
Not often I find a AR pleasing to the eye, but you did a really good job with this one. Well done.

Just got this guy for myself yesterday. Curious why she went with the 238 over the 938, given the negligible difference in size (0.4" length) and weight (0.8 oz), given that 9mm offers double the muzzle energy (plus the near universal availability and variety of ammunition). The 938 doesn't offer the admittedly cool Pearl finish, though. My wifes new carry gun came in:awe:

But with Glock jumping on the .380ACP bandwagon, that might change things.

For .380 Auto, your only good options are Critical Defense, Gold Dot, or RangerT/PDX1.just need to decide on what SD round to buy for her to carry

I have a question: Is there anything out there in generic 'wonder nine' format with a trigger that rivals the Walther PPQ? I hear it's the best striker fire trigger, hands down, and I believe it. But are there SA/DA's with a similarly light pull and short reset?
Just looking for another generic range gun, maybe. The other day at the range I dumped 100 rounds of 9mm in like 15 minutes (they were closing) and I found myself feeling that two seconds to drain a mag was just too long. :awe:
