Nice. I'm eying a Gen 4 23 to go with my 22 but really need to get a pocket gun first. It's hard not to get a Glock when they only cost me $399.

Sorry to hear that.

Next time order a real pistol, like a Springfield XD

That's a picture of an XDM...I have an original XD. It's less "batman-ish" looking.

I like Glocks, but have 2 complaints with the 19 and all glocks in general.
1. I have big hands. The hand grips have molded finger grips that push my fingers into an un-natural feeling positionlittle
2. The Glock slides are thinner than the XD slides, so I feel like I'm looking over the sights when I bring the gun up to look down the sights. The XD sights just feel more natural to me.

Cool.
If you ever have to leave the basement, your "Shit your Pants" level will go down by a factor of 1.2!

Congrats! Glocks and XD are fine weapons.

The only reason I prefer XD is the grip safety in addition to trigger.

Pretty nice of glock to give the extra mags and brush for goodies.

I'd have gone for a 3rd Gen. I hear to many issues with the 4th gen guns.
Glocks are OK, but they are far from the top of the line in plastic guns.

I went 4th gen due to the change in grip. it better accomodates my small hands. my last glock was *very* good to me, its still in service after 23 years. it may not be 'top of the line' even for polymer but its a great weapon at a great price.

I really wanted a sig 229, but it cost almost double. I have heard of some issues with the 4th gens but nothing to scare me away.
They would not even make a good trotline sinker.

did you want to post the same pic of your FN again while you are at it? :sneaky:

I get it, you don't like glocks, congrats, they are reliable and will drive nails, and thats what I need in a handgun

Nice, tried out a 3rd Gen G19 a while ago. Glocks aren't my preference, but not a bad gun.
