I ordered this about a week and a half ago, and it showed up last friday.
The rifle is a Ruger #1, in .308. I have always loved these rifles, and own several of them in various calibers (big bores though), this is the first one I own that has a bullet smaller than .375. I had an extra Zeiss Conquest 3-9x40mm scope with a rapid-z 600 reticle that I put on it, as well as a buttstock shellholder and a new sling. The rifle itself came with scope rings and the sling swivels, which was a nice extra.
Total cost out the door was right at $1,000, not counting the scope.
The last picture is comparing it to my M1a socom 16. The overall length of the rifles are the same, though the ruger has a 22" barrel compared to the 16" barrel of the m1a. I am planning on using it as a hunting rifle for deer and elk this year (though my ruger #1 in .375 H&H is probably going to be my primary elk rifle). Handloading for these rifles is awesome too, as they will take much hotter loads than most other action types. I am working on some 125g loads to test in this rifle once I have it sighted in, trying for 3200fps or higher.
I just love the classy look of these rifles, definitely Rugers flagship rifle for a reason.
