I have a girl coming over in an hour, we chat on the net and at school (a bit), but I'm really nervous. We both like each other a lot, and she's hella cute, I just hope I don't do anything stupid.

Anyone got any suggestions on calming nerves? (a drink is out of the question, I'm 16 and my Dad's at home)
 
Why be nervous? No reason at all for that. Well unless of course she shows up wearing a black vinyl outfit, carrying a whip, and brings a gimp mask for you. If that happens you can be worried.....anything short of that and you're in the clear.

Now....just remember this because it's very important.
 
wow... you got a girl coming over? I'd be nervous as hell. When she rings your doorbell, you're gonna answer it and make an ass out of yourself, stuttering and what not. then you'll invite her in your house, and you'll trip over something on the ground. Way to go loser! Eventually you'll both end up on the couch, and it would just be an awkward silence. Minutes later you make your move then she smacks the hell out of you and runs out of your hosue crying. Then your father comes down yelling "did you hit her?! Did you take advantage of her?! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU! YOU ARE NOT MY SON! GET OUT!" Then he kicks you out of the house and proceeds to kick your ass down the walkway. Eventually you're on the street corner badly beaten, praying for help. THen a van full of mexican guys drives by and they load you in with them. THey handcuff you and blindfold you, and strip you down to your boxers. After an hour long ride, you end up in a warehouse area. There is a crowd of people and you are led onto a stage. You now realize you are being sold for slave labor on the black market. You wet yourself from fear then the auctioneer proceeds to whip you for being such a bitch.


or that might not even happen, you even might end up getting some!
 
umm be yourself, dont try to impress her by doing stupid stuff or acting different around parents and then jsut do someting entertaining. IE watching a mopvie unless something else is planned

To calm yourself down, just breathe deeply for about five or six minutes and concentrate on breathing. That should calm you down.... then just be yourself!
 
I've found that in most of the cases where I've met someone from the net that I've been talking to them one on one for a while, the transition is really smooth. Go read a book or watch TV until she gets there. The more you try to plan out what you're going to say, the more nervous you'll be and it'll be slightly harder. Just kick back.
