Ok, I went to a frat party Tuesday night and met some transfer students. To be more precise, 3 girls and a guy. I mean they are cool people and I am really attracted to one of the girls. I their cellphone numbers and stuff. But now I don't know what to do with them. I am definitely interested in getting to know all of them. Yesterday, which is Wednesday, there was a school sponsored concert. I called girl #1 on her cell, but the reception was bad. When I called again immediately after and then again about 2 hours later, no one picked up. So I called girl #2 and asked her if she and her friends wanted to go to the concert, but I think she misunderstood me in that she thinks I only asked her to go. She said something about waiting to see what her friends in the hall are doing. Then I called the guy and asked him, hoping to get to the girls through him, but he said the entire hall is going to the concert as a hall event.

Since I called them a lot yesterday, I didn't think it would be wise to call them today. My next move is to invite them to some frat parties tomorrow (Friday night) and see what happens. I know there are people on ATOT who has more experience and hopefully you guys can help me out.

EDIT: ok, so party friday night didn't happen since most of the frats decided to volunteer at the school's casino night. I had fun just playing cards by myself. Last night there were some parties at Sig Ep and Delta Phi. I gave the guy from the group a call, he wasn't sure if he could make it but it seemed like he wanted to. I told him to invite the girls and all. But I never saw them since Delta Phi got busted and I had to run. Any other ideas?

You made the right moves, just had a bit of bad luck. One of them, whichever girl you're more interested in, and invite her and her friends to go with you to wherever you want to go. If she says no, (other plans, not interested in that event, etc) have another event handy to mention a little further away in time.
 
just play it cool.

im serious. don't just outright show that you're interested in that person (unless the attraction is mutual, which is rare, like my gf of 2 yrs 😉)

just be very nice to her and show her a good time while with other friends.. then slowly make your move alone times..

you almost sound desperate the way you described making all those phone calls.

 
well, it was only 4 carried out through a few hours. but i guess you are right. but i dont think i wanted to hear something. i want to hear some serious answers. her [hotchic] answer seemed serious and well thought out.

I disagree. He called one person. No dice. So he tried another. No dice. One more....ok that's enough. 😉 He wasnt calling the same person over and over.
 
well, i did call this girl 3 times but in well spaced time frame. but i guess i shouldnt even have done that,

If a cell drops a call, it's perfectly acceptable to try calling back, and since that didn't work, no problem calling back later. Yeesh guys, you overthink this stuff.

seriously, people on this forum do over think stuff.

Call them, if they don't want to hang out that's it. Get over it, they just don't want to hang out. Take a hint and move on.

Just be yourself, if they don't like you for who you are what's the point?
