...because he was secretly hanging out with HIS ex behind her back and still telling her he loved her.

Am I allowed to be slightly amused or is that mean?

Rather amusing. Just make sure you don't get involved sometime in the future ;)

I was just going to post that.

But since you know it, there is nothing wrong with being amused by this knowledge.

I also derive pleasure from bad things happening to people other then me, so I can understand your position here.

We're still friends. I have no interest in her anymore though.

Sort of depends on the reasons that you guys split. You sound like you got the short end of the stick, which would make sense and be understandable - otherwise it would be very immature if you split with her to also now enjoy her misery.

He told her.

And yeah she dumped me way back so my immaturity is justified.

Aren't you morally obligated to be amused by that? ;)

Seriously speaking though, it depends on why you broke up. If she ripped your beating heart out of your chest, stomped on it, buried it, and salted the earth over which it was buried, I think you can be amused. If you dumped her, or you were the jerk, or the breakup was amicable... I don't really see why you should be amused by it.

Maybe he's just petty and takes pleasure in the misfortune of others. Personally, I don't see anything wrong with that. :D
