That you have this best friend that is a girl and she has a cute girl that works with her. Let say you talk to her when you visit your best friend occasionally.

When you tell your best friend to tell her co-worker that you think she is pretty, the co-worker is shocked and does not now what to say. The co-worker thought you had the hots for your best friend not her. So they start chatting about other things and the co-worker never mentions you again.

Does this mean no.....she don't like you? Or does it mean she needs time to think about it?

Or it's because she thinks the best friend is interested and the best friend got their first. That sounds likely to me. Could your best friend secretly have a crush on you? If so, the coworker (possibly knowing about this) isn't going to step on toes.
