I never really bought off on the month-increment anniversary thing. Come to think of it, I don't really buy off on any dating-related anniversaries. How do you demarcate the start? First met? First date? First nookie? It makes my head spin . . .

Exactly. My girlfriend and I dont know when we started dating...it doesnt matter to us. I know it was in May sometime, but thats about it.
