OK, a little backstory (may be a little confusing);
A friend of mine, Elizabeth, recently had a gathering at her house last month where all of her cousins got together (her, her brother, and three other cousins). One of the cousins drove up from Florida. They had like a dinner on Friday and breakfast on Saturday and then parted ways. The cuz from Florida stayed the rest of the weekend with Elizabeth and her parents....
So while he is there, he hangs out with Elizabeth and her best friend (who I've had some feelings for a while now, but haven't been able to act much on them due to a 130 mile distance between us and the fact that I work 5 days a week...I do see her a couple of times a month though...nothing serious). Anyway, Elizabeth's cuz takes quite a liking to Elizabeth's best friend and they sorta hit it off...in the sense that they both like the same kinda things and he's real down to earth, etc. Nothing like "deep or romantic." So he leaves that Sunday and drives back to Florida. So for the past month, they exchanged emails and I think he may have called her once or twice, but it was more of a "friend" thing.
Out of the blue last weekend, he FLEW up here to NC to see her...he flew up JUST to see her and tell her how he feels. Of course, she was like :Q. I mean, she likes him as a friend and all, but homeboy actually FLEW up here to see her and she had no idea he was coming (he stayed at Elizabeth's house). So they spend some of Friday and Saturday together and he flew back Sunday. And now she is totally like WTF!?
And of course, I'm like WTF is his problem?😉 I mean, he's a nice guy and all, especially coming from that family. So I know that he isn't some scumball creep, but it still gives me the chills that he would do something like that out of the blue in such a short fasion.
Part of me wants to to tell her to tell him to f*&k off, yet the other wants me to tell her to see where this goes...
