hmmmm...that all sounds good, but i just want HER to have a fun 18th, this isn't about me. sure, tussling and kissing would be nice, but the number 1 priority is that she has fun.

well, i couldn't think of anything she really would want, so i asked her what she wanted to do. and she said drink. so yeah, i guess it kind of is her present.
 
well, thanks for your help everybody, i'm going to bed.
i figure that i'll get the Baileys, some flowers, and a couple of old movies or someething. if she wants to go out and do something, that;ll work to. either way, i'm sure everything will work out.

Going by his profile, he's BC where the drinking age is 19, so I'm assuming the OP is at least 19, since he mentions buying the drinks.

Anyways, just make sure you don't fall into the friends-zone, seems like you can recover if you play your cards right.
 
At least two threads of this kind are posted on these forums daily. Yet, hopeless ATOT romantics still insist on pursuing such impossible efforts despite the repetitive advice given on a daily basis.
