Dinner at a restraunt, a bottle of wine, and then dessert at home

My thought is that she might think that I want her to come back to my place to do the nasty, which isn't true at all..

 You don't? Hand over man-card NOW!!

I'm not a geek, when I see a girl I don't instantly get a boner and want to have sex with her because I've never seen a girl before.

It's a little hard to gain someones respect and trust when the only thing they think you want is ass.

No I'd rather proceed with getting to know her better and whatever happens happens.

You and just about every other guy thats seen that photo.

Thankfully she seems to have a thing for me, but I won't see her for 60 dayswhich is why i gotta leave a strong impression.

60 days, 0 reason for commitment... you're SOL buddy.

Never said I was looking for a commitment buddy.

She'll forget you a few days after she's in HK.

Sorry.

Hey guys,

Preface:
I've been interested in this girl since we met a week ago, we went out tonight, when to my shock, she said she was withdrawing for the rest of the semester, she's been having some family problems. Now, we live a VERY long ways away from where we go to school.

5 hour plane flight, and a 3 hour bus ride, I'm interested in her becauses it's a relationship that can carry on over the summer.

The situation:

Anyhow, it also happens to be her birthday on Tuesday and she leaves back to Vancouver on the Friday. I won't see her over Christmas because she's going to her parents place in Hong Kong for Christmas break.

The options:

We went out for dinner tonight and I got to discuss a variety of things for her, namely things she likes. They're pretty universal, she's into funky clothing, she loves food, wine, sushi, dance/techno music, as well as a TV show lover.

Now as it lies now, she expressed interest in going out again before she leaves, whether it be cooking for her (I'm a pretty sweet cook), or taking her out to a restraunt, and then I'll cook dessert (chocolate mousse or souffle).

Now if I take her out to a restraunt, I'm probably going to kill off the gift idea because it's going to be expensive after a full course meal and wine,

The plan itself isn't so hard as I'm not sure what to get her.

I could get her, I'd like to keep it under $50 bucks, so I was thinking a box set of DVDs of her favourite tv shows, 2 dvds of her favourite movies, something to do with sushi? (she LOVES cooking too, so is there a set i can buy her to help her make sushi?), 2 cd's of her favourite musicians?

Anyhow, I'm too indecisive, I'd appreciate some input.

Dinner at home is more intimate and fun. Rent a sweet funny movie that she may like just as an option.

If this is a last big date in a while, throw in dance lessons or something sweet and fun for a girl.

Or what is nice meal at home, then plan a walk around a really nice area of town, with fountains and lights, then (if you guys are old enough) a wine bar at the end, or something that will really dazzle her (depends on the girl).

Yeah I was going to cook for her then take her down to the lakeside, if it isn't too cold. Otherwise I'd take her to a nice lounge/bar to relax.
