Girl insists we talk on AIM... we're both incredibly cynical... I tell her before we even start conversing that somewhere down the line one of us is going to take something someone says to heart and get upset about. She insists to keep talking, but I was right.
I don't know how it transpired but I said something that was taken way out of context by her, she got hurt by it, now we're not talking. I tried calling, she didn't pick up. Finally she gets back on AIM to tell me how hurt she was, I apologized, yet it doesn't matter. I tell her how ridiculous this whole thing is and ask her why are we even upset at each other, she doesn't want to hear it and insists on being mad at me... she says a few choice words, and bids me goodnight. We were originally going to hang out tomorrow, she says she still wants to but I can't even consider how awkward this is going to be.
Sorry if it doesn't make sense.. I'm frustrated. Logic doesn't work with women. Tips to make it less awkward tomorrow?

Her - Indianapolis is in Central time
Me - No, it's in Eastern. *proof*
Her - Fine. You're right. You're always right.
Me - Yup!
Her - Except for when {hurtful comment about my past}
Me - {hurtful comment about her past}
While I coulda flied off the handle at what she said because it was insanely harsh, I figured she was being sarcastic and I was sarcastic in return. Well turns out she's allowed to take offense and I'm stuck with my foot in my mouth (because I can't say what I said wasn't hurtful).
