I made it out of the friends zone.

Amateurs... I pulled of a trifecta two weeks ago, working on a superfecta for burning man ;)
So you slept with a girl, her mom and her sister?
It's a running joke with a buddy of mine, in the movie Dodgeball theres a great quote "Absolutely. In some cases, there's two somebodies for one person. I like to call that "the jackpot"". So we tend to call a threesome a jackpot, so I asked him what I should call being with 3 girls or 4 girls he figured it should be like horse racing, a trifecta and a superfecta.
And no, all three girls were not related ;)

Remember the triplets from Minneapolis?
The ones that did a centerfold in Playboy?

THAT, would be sweet.

Both single the whole time, or did you finally get together when one or both of you broke up with someone else?

We were both dating other people the whole time off and on.

Just ended up we were both single at the same time and started hanging out a lot more one on one and one thing led to another and we realized it had became more than just friends.

Which fits perfectly with the ladder theory ;)

You haven't made it out of the friends zone until you have banged her

I'll have to freshen up with the ladder theory at some point to catch your point I suppose.

It just basically meant that you were friends due to the circumstances and most likely at least one of you wanted more but the that person (or perhaps the other) was unavailable at the time.

If you two were single and friends 2 years and one day decided you were in love, that would be more akin to changing ladders than what you posted.

Yeah, goodluck, haha. It's not impossible, it's just a stupid idea 99% of the time.
