So i went out tonight with a friend of mine (A) and she brought along one of her friends (call her C). So C emails me just now and says she'd like to hang out again sometime. Problem is i really dont like C. I hang out with A cause I've known her since high school and we've been good friends ever since but C is just annoying and not someone i get along with, but A & C are like good friends.

I called up friend A and let her know and asked her whats up with this - but she has no good way to turn C down - and we like hanging out together (I can stand C so long as A is there).

So is there any way to turn down C without putting A in the middle? or am i stuck in one of those annoying female triangles thats just going to turn out badly no matter what i do?

It's going to end badly no matter what.

Turn it into a threesome and least go out in a blaze of glory.

Just tell your friend that you are not attracted to C

...and post pics

no pics...but i can put it this way....C is the sorta girl that uses a pic of a flower/fairy/etc on myspace/match.com and lists herself as 5'0 and "average".

Like I wrote, be honest, but not brutally so.

Don't try to dump her based on exclusion or incompatibility on a whim .She'll comeback later with a vengeance and will have "fixed" that inadequacy in some weird way.

Or you could always go with the "it's not you, it's me" speech:D

Just tell C that you like A as more than a friend and you know that she only likes you now as a friend, but you're hoping she'll feel differently some day. If C is really A's friend, she won't be hitting on you anymore.

Opps! That may be a little to close to the truth!:)
And the OP probably doesn't want that to get back to A. And what happened to B?

Play it safe and tell her it was fun hanging out with C AND A and that you are cool hanging out with BOTH of them again. She should get the clue.

or you could lie.

Your only sure-fire solution is to get a third girl involved and have her pretend to be your girlfriend. Girl C will lose interest immediately and go date some hairy fat guy with "a great personality" and you'll be in the clear.

Go out once and give her a chance and then tell her you'd rather be friends, in the end you look good in both A and C's eyes and the three of you can continue to hang out with no guilt whatsoever.

who cares what she thinks, just don't show affection back and avoid situation that she's involved in.
