YAGT: How do I break things off with a girl I work with?

we both started dating right after getting out of serious relationships. we actually broke up with our exs on the same day with out prior knowledge. We found this out at a work party two days later. Started dating a month ago, and actually went away for the weekend, labor day. We had sex for the first time down there. Now a week later i'm just done. she beautiful, smart, older...shes 30 im 25....and is very successful.

I dont know what it is, i just know this isnt "the one" and i dont think its right to waste her time at this point in the game. If she was like 20 i'd keep her around for kicks, but i respect this one too much. But how do i keep things cool? just be really honest and blame it on the rebound thing and unsettled feelings etc? needing to be single?

I guess i should give a reason for how i feel....... i saw an old crush from 5 years ago. Shes married and stuff, and she asked me to dinner saturday night. And well we ended up making out in the parking lot. Soooo thats that.

sounds like what it was, so that would be honest. she may be thinking the same thing. just be honest. at least she could never call you a lying motherfvcker, etc. etc. which would really make work worse.


edit: theyll probably never be "cool". chances of this ending well are low.
