I've been talking to a girl that lives overseas... just wondering if anyone has made their relationship workout. Has anyone ever gotten married with someone overseas?

Umm... I dated a girl that I first started talking to in Bangladesh. My fiancee Is Ukrainian and lived in Russia most of her life... does that count?

No, but I did meet and date foreign exchange students while in college. None of them quite worked out since the majority of them had BFs in their country and they were cheating on them 2000 miles away.

Pics?

Haven't gotten married, but met a couple girls when I was in germany.

Language Barrier. Don't need to know her favorite color to "have relations" with her, but if you were going to marry her it might be nice to know what color the bathroom was going to be.

I'm working in Denmark right now and more than half of my American coworkers came back to be with the BF/GF they met while they were studying here.

A friend went to the Phillipines on vacation and came back with a wife, they're happy. But he did say it was A LOT of fun over there for a single guy, she won't be letting him go back there on vacation alone.

Yes.

Met MrsHoneybee online, she visited the US 3 summers, went over there got married, she's living here now.

That reminds me I gotta contact those lazy asses at the US Immigration.

Wow, that's cool... I'm just kinda tired of dating the same girls... so, it would be fun to date someone totally different..

As long as your love for each other is genuine (e.g. she doesn't plan on using you to gain citizenship to the USA or for your money) then I say go for it.

My GF lives in Indiana while I'm in NJ. It's difficult, the commute is getting to be a pain in the ass. Also, her parents really dislike me, and try to prevent the visitations.

my current girlfriend is from S. korea....am now in the process of trying to bring her over here....if you are, be prepared for some serious emotional fights over future....it's really hard, but you gotta keep trying.

Ohh yah I can attest to this. The women over there love the American boys. Your money goes a long a very long way.

i had a japanese borderline friend/girlfriend when i was taking a summer program at UCR. after a while, the language barrier was posing some trouble... damn i wish i started learning japanese earlier 🙁
