YAGT: Hang Out With Me

Ok so my girlfriend is going to Florida for like 12 days starting Friday. I just got a subwoofer and amp and obviously want to put it in my car right? So I told my friend that we could install it Wednesday at 3pm after I get out of work (this was Monday evening).

But my gf wants to me wait until she's gone because "this is the last week before I leave and I want to hang out with you." No problem. But I am with her everyday...everyday from 3pm when I get off work until 11pm at night or just about. I'm not complaining! Just stating the facts. Well, don't you think a couple hours on Wednesday is OK for me and my friend to hook up my stuff? And it's not like she has to stay home, if she wanted to be with me should could hang out with us too.

Am I being an ass for wanting my stuff put in my car Wednesday and not waiting until she's gone? What do you guys (and girls) think?

Haha, she pretty much has me by the balls already. My friends say I'm whipped, lol, I probably wouldn't disagree. I love her though :heart: . But damnit! I want my stuff installed! Hehe.

Just about 8 hours I'd say. I work 9am-3pm M-F and she works 7am-3pm M-F (for the most part). We hang out everyday after work (right after I get off work I hurry over to her work and wait for her) and on the weekends too, although that's usually later cause you know, sleeping in and all.

That's true but I don't think there should even be an argument. I'm asking for 2 or 2 1/2 hours out of a day with my friend and she can come along!

8 hours a day! dude, i'm married and my wife and i don't even spend 8 hours a day together. at least not awake

a few hours on wednesday shouldn't be a big deal. you can always hang afterwards.

conversely, how big of a deal is it to wait till saturday?

also, since she goes to work earlier than you does she go to sleep earlier? seems there might be some time when she goes to sleep to install the goods.

No problem to wait, I could do it Friday actually. Without really thinking I just told my friend Wednesday and didn't think it would be a problem. Now if I tell him "Sorry dude let's do it Friday or Saturday" he's gonna be like "Yeah, he really is whipped." Bah.

Hey now! I'm not quite sure, she's going with her aunt/uncle and cousins and I guess they're gonna stay on an island or something...Haha quite a vague description but that's all I know.

just hang out with her, you dont want the hassle or frustration of her claiming that your subwoofer is more important then her, plus you'll have 12 days to play with it yourself as much as you want.

I guess you can hang out with her and do it later, even tho it's a big sign of your being whipped, ah well, i wouldnt wanna start any kind of fight/argument/disagreement before she leaves to florida on vacation for 12 days, make sure its all good either way you do it....I say install your stuff, but lord knows, i'd prolly end up hanging out w/ my g/f instead too .
