YAGT: Good Sunday afternoon date ideas in Santa Monica?

I'm drawing a blank. We're gonna have lunch at one of the restaurants overlooking the Santa Monica Airport and watch the planes. I need a good idea for something to do after that.

Drive up to Malibu. There are some nice parks there and it's not that far from Santa Monica.

Yeah, Topanga Canyon State Park is even a little bit closer and that's a nice place to go.

Also, about the airport:
a) None of the restaraunts overlooking it really look like they're worth eating at.
b) Not too many planes go in and out of there.
