You should be looking after yourself. Men are at the highest risk for suicide and depression after a relationhsip breakup. Drinking alcohol is the last thing you should be doing.

I disagree. You'll find a little bit of the answer to your problems in the bottom of every bottle. Drink enough, and you'll have enough bits to put together the answer to all your questions.

Besides, I think aidanjm is thinking of gay men, who typically go bat sh!t insane when a relationship ends, resulting in someone getting stabbed, and a hilarious episode of COPS being filmed.

rofl hahahahahahaha

Anyways, I never like to drink when i'm depressed/sad but that's just personal choice. I think it could help a bit in some situations.

and once again, i want you to know that i'm

rofl hahahahaha

again!

Well, it's roundabout September, which probably means off to university for a lot of girls... We all know what THAT means...

After a good 3 1/2 years with some ups and downs, she decided to break things off with me because she had to work things out with herself. I'll miss her. Hope everything is good with her. I know I'll be feeling down and out, but I'll try to recover. I need some people to talk to, someone IM me on AIM or osmething to chat. Thanks.

Go get laid, have a nice day

Lol, my girlfriend for 2 1/2 years and I broke off with the same reason. I took all her stuff and put it in a shoebox in my closet. I'll be getting a gym membership and building some muscles again, and maybe hooking up with some hotties in the university drama program. (Yes, they actually are hot.)

Well, trust me, I am. I'm at work still, just woke up from a nap, and I still can't believe that it happened. Everybody thought that she and I were going to get married sooner or later. Even I thought the same thing. :(

Just do stuff to keep yourself from thinking abuot her. Defientely hit the gym and get yourself looking sharp for the next woman that'll have the pleasure of having you in her life :)

same... sucks, man.

don't spend time alone... do whatever you can to spend time with your friends. talking helps a lot. being alone and dwelling makes things a LOT worse.

:( i feel for you.
