The whole "american football" threw me off.

I was thinking it to be some odd sport I've never heard of. Then I realized the OP meant to just say football. It's clear now.

And advice on the girl... you don't deserve her. But she is apparently desperate enough to meet up with a hippie on myspace and give him a really really really badass first date. However, she doesn't realize you won't make the best of it.
