I don't mind them being here. This is Off Topic after all. If you get rid of the YAGTs, you might as well get rid of the YACTs, YAeTs, YAHTTs, YATireTs, YADCTs, YAPTs, and all of the other threads involving food, movies, birthdays, and gifts.

Won't be much in ATOT if that happens.

i think posting YAGTs can be very beneficial. It is a way of letting off some steam and getting some (for the most part) pretty decent, unbiased advice from others in your age group.

Honestly, does it really affect your life that adversely to see a lot of YAGTs during certain times of the year? If this is honestly you're personal quest, then I feel sorry for you. Let people vent if they have to, it's by far better than a lot of other threads around here (see goku and PAB).

I admit I posted my first one a few days back. Because you are all random faceless people it made no difference to me to post such personal information. I wasn't in desperate need of the advice like some people who go to therapists, parents, or counselors are. I think the main reason people post YAGT is to get the "common sense" opinion to see if they are acting crazy or if they are justified in how they think/feel.

I'm sorry I added one more line in the middle of your precious posts about orange juice pulp, YouTube videos of people getting hit in the crotch with footballs, and the current state of the PS3.

The best part was that, if I recall correctly, two guys saw him finally start hitting her back, and of course just assumed he was beating on an innocent woman (yes, I know, "innocent woman" is definitely an oxymoron), so they beat the hell out of him, leaving him bloodied and with black eyes.

OP: Yes, the YAGTs are certainly taking up precious space that could be devoted to more interesting topics, such as speaker cables, back hair, how to rob your own sister blind, and my personal favorite, "show me your desktop". At least YAGTs are usually good for a laugh.
