Take a look at the first page of posts here at ATOT. YAGT's are spreading like a plague on this forum and I'm here to put a stop to it.
We aren't your parents, we aren't therapists, counselors, consultants, or best friends that have known you for so long that our opinion is something that can really help you in your life. We are random people throughout the world that originally came here for some unrelated tech advice and discovered a cool place to hang out and post off the wall stuff. We have just as much knowlege of what goes on in your personal life as some dude you talk to standing next in line to pay for gas. Yet for some reason, the YAGTers drop extremely personal, life changing and critical questions asking for advice and hoping for insight. Why?
Granted, this is OT, post what you want. But it seriously worries me when I see kid after kid taking relationship advice from kid after kid. Talk to your parents, please. If you can't talk to your parents about something like this because "hey, some things are too tough to talk about" then find a close friend. And if some random stranger on the forum is as close to a close friend as you have then seek professional advice as in a counselor or someone else. For you old guys looking for relationship advice here- get a freaking clue.
Does anyone else feel the same as I do about this?
Thanks,
MrLee
