YAGT: Friends' GF is being a dirtbag and using a bad excuse

Ok here is the story--

My friend Mike has been going out with this girl named Sally for about 10 months. About 3 months ago, mike told this other girl named kate that was friends with sally that he liked her...and they were going to try and go out and ditch Sally however they realized that wouldnt really work bc oof sally and kate being friends soooo mike patched things up and got past that....but now kate and mike are still "friends" and hang out sometimes


Sooo now yesterday, Sally tells Mike that she is going to go on this kids boat today with just him, her and her friend...the kid has admitted to wanting to go out with sally in the past (and sally has liked random dirt kid in the past), however she claims they are "just friends", and is using kate and mike being "just friends" as an excuse, even though this is totally different.

Do you think that sally should go on this random dirtbags boat for the day?
 
I think Mike should get over it. If he can be friends with his GF's friend that he obviously made a pass at, then Sally can be friends with this kid.. especially cause he has a boat! 🙂
 
So let me get this straight--you're mad at Sally because she *might* want to do the exact same thing that Mike and Kate already tried to do before? Seems like it's exactly the same situation to me. And you said she's going on a boat with him, her, and her friend, right? Going on a boat with a friend does not constitute cheating--you're just jumping to conclusions before anything happens. Besides, your friend Mike and Kate already tried to cheat behind Sally's back, so I don't see why Sally is in the wrong here.

No. This relationship is doomed. They should break up now and save time and effort. This "He did it so I can too" stuff is just the beginning of the end that already should have happened.
 
How is this any different ? We all know Mike's intentions with Kate... and as evil as it is for Sally to use that against Mike in this situation, it's still the same game. I think they need to find new people. Dang Long Islanders... 😉

How does he know that she's going to do it? He just assumes she as sleazy as Mike because Mike has done it in the past. If Mike has a HUGE problem with it then why not just say "hey that sounds like a lot of fun, would it be ok if i came along too?"

I don't care about Sally and the boat. Mike already ruined things way before that. And Katie is a sh|t friend.

Sally should dump Mike and go on a boat ride.
 
That doesn't make her a dirtbag. Your friend is worse, he tried, failed and came back. Sally is letting mike know before she even does it.

damn, im glad i dont have to go thru any of this crap, its like days of our lives or something, also wth would anyone else like to watch that kind of stuff on tv.
