YAGT: Do you handle shy girls differently than outgoing ones?

Every girl I've ever dated or had a relationship with has been very outgoing, dance ontop of bars (coyote ugly) types...

Now I met a nice gal but she is shy. "Takes awhile for me to open up around people I don't know."

I've got the outgoing girls down pat, and know how to handle them and what to expect. Now what do I do with a shy girl? I'm about to find out as I am beginning to talk to one and date one at the moment, but I was just wondering if anybody else has any tips or rules of thumb to "warn me about"... Or are they generally easier to deal with?

NO PICS at the moment. I haven't begged her for any, and I'm not aware of any on the internet, too soon to ask anyways.

***CLIFFS***
-I know outgiong girls and their routine
-Are shy girls different? If so any tips/rules of thumb?

You'll have to take charge a lot more but I guess that's sort of obvious. I like outgoing girls way more, I suppose it compliments me well being I'm more shy.

Shy girls only make me more outgoing and wild. I'm dating a pretty shy girl right now and it's worked great with her.

Trust and comfort are more important to her than the others. Focus on building these aspects in your relationship. Don't pressure her to do something she doesnt want or be something she isnt.

Take more one on one time with her. Try and make her feel as comfortable and non-threatened as possible.
If they have different personalities, of course you are going to want to act different around her.
Don't try and change her into the outgoing type either.
Just be attentive and kind to her :D

You can use less chloroform, they aren't as lively as the spirited ones.

They require more patience, but in the end it is so worth it. I always dated wild party girls, who in the end become emotionally needy and high maintenance. Shy girls will be the best gf's they will appreciate you and be more loyal. But make sure you are doing it for the right reasons, if you hurt the shy ones, it makes it that much harder for them to open up to someone down the road.

Yes always leave your women in the same or better condition than when you found them. Karma is a bitch.

Shy girls make me more outgoing as I'm usually the shy one so I enjoy them much more.

Overly flirty, outgoing girls tend to turn me off.

Thanks for the advice. ATOT comes through as always.

Sounds like I'm in for a real treat. I need the change of pace and someone more shy sounds like they are more fitting for me at this point in my life. Thanks all.
