Well dudes, it ended last night. And the phone call today didn't sound too promising.

I think she had to get serious about somebody soon, according to her mom, or they were going to find someone for her. Dudes....I'm only 23. Yeah right, you kidding me?

Zim....I could really use a  right about now.

Maybe it was for the better, whatever.

Cheers Fellas.

Here's the thing. We're Indian. Her mom has been pressuring her a little. My parents are totally cool. But last week, her mom said that there was this family that wanted to "meet" her. All the while, I wanted to tell her mom as little as possible about "us", cuz if she told her enough...her mom would think ok, that's it. I don't want that. I just want some time to work things out. We both just started working, in different cities, just getting started. And yeah, I could see myself with this girl in a little while, but now. I mean, I don't want to think that here and now...I'm done for. But her mom has been looking.

Yeah, lame I know. It's a thing of Indian Culture, some of the BS you gotta put up with. My parents are the EXACT opposite, I do what I want, so whatever. But yeah....I'm too young to be thinking like that, so it's over.

Is that enough??

I see. One of my cousins right now will be possibly getting married to a girl in India while hes in the US that he has never met before. Some of our grandparents and family went to see how the girl is. In the next trip, if they like each other, they'll marry, otherwise they'll look for someone else.

Well, we've always had a long distance relationship. The first time around it was 8 months, then I broke it off cuz I never got to see her. (We were both in school.) And btw, my most serious relationship to date. This second time around, it was only like six months. But like I said, probably both of our most serious relationships. I know, not that long, but it was one of those things that just sort of worked.

I guess it just more sux, because of WHY we broke up...almost like we weren't really given a fair chance of dating on our own I guess, at our own pace.

Oh well....Growing Pain I guess.
