You've probably got it all planned out already, but I'd just throw my two cents in.

If you've been to a few comedy clubs before, you should know that the late show is almost always funnier (according to my sense of humor), because the comedians are able and willing to be raunchier than they would for the older 8:00 dinner crowd. Of course, I realize that you're probably not too concerned about which show is better, just which would allow you to gameplan for the big event afterwards. I just figured I'd mention it since no one else did.

Having worked in several clubs during my life, I can tell you that the 10:15 show will be dirtier and a bit looser than the 8:00 show because the comedian probably got liquored up between the sets 🙂
