When you guys call a girl for the first time to ask her on a date and you don't get an answer, what do you do? Originally I thought not leaving a message and trying back periodically would be a good idea, but nowdays everyone has caller ID, so having your number on her phone 10 times probably seems a little stalker-ish.

On the other hand, I know people who will never leave messages when they are trying to ask a girl out.

Thoughts?

If you call me and I'm not home, then leave a damned message. I can tell you called so just say what you have to say on the answering machine or voicemail and be done with it. I'll either call you back or I won't.

I can't stand people who call and don't leave a message. What am I? A fvcking mindreader? Leave a fvcking message! :p

If someone calls me when I'm not there to pick up and doesn't leave a message, I assume it wasn't important and forget about it.

If you want a call back, then you need to leave a message, period.

Depends. Sometimes I don't mind having voicemail messages, but I tend to just call the person back.

If you were calling to ask a girl out, then it would probably better to leave a message and not repeatedly call back.

For real...I don't know why anyone would just keep calling back...that'd be creepy.

Leave a message and be done with it.

A bit of overanalysis IMO. As long as there aren't 10 of your number on her caller id you're cool.

++ Yes. This is the only way to do it. If she doesn't call back, maybe call once more after 4-5 days, but don't call again after that (if she doesn't call you back after the 2nd time). Then it's over dude.

Alright, well I already called once without leaving a message last night before posting this, so here it goes again for the one (and last) time (and with a message this time).
