YAGT: but not quite like what you're used to...

i recently broke up with my gf...and i realize i'm a fvcking retard for doing it now...we've talked a bit about reconciliation...but i really want to do something special for her tonite...here's what i have planned so far:

first, i'm picking her up from work with a single rose

second, i'm cooking dinner for her(which i rarely do, btw, we generally eat out) pork chops, fried mushrooms, and strawberry shortcake for dessert.

third, since she will be at work until 11pm, she is going to miss the fireworks, so i'm going to take her out to do our own fireworks display...planning to watch the stars for a little while after that

anyone have anything to add? doesn't really matter where at in the timeline...even if it's just a small detail, post it...i really want to make an impression here...so i want the evening to be as perfect as possible

If you're going to do the whole fireworks thing, have them set up before hand. It'd be pretty lame if she had to watch you set them all up and what not. Might be kinda cool if you just took her in the backyard and unveiled some huge swarm of illegal fireworks from underneath a tarp - all wired to a single fuse.

Hmmm.... that would be totally badass, i should try that one..maybe next year.

Also, im asuming you're grilling the chops? Try marinating them first, even though there's not much time left(until you will be grilling), it could still be good.
