a very good friend of mine from high school is having problems with her ex. he was verbally (and almost physically) abusive towards her during their relationship a few months ago. needless to say, she walked away - not easily, i might add. he stalks her and has threatened her friends. she has a restraining order on him. just recently, an anonymous person sent her a link to a web page/forum at linkbyte where the ex was asking someone to hack my friend's hotmail password. this guy is a complete loser - i need your help to get him back somehow, but i'm up in new york and she's down in miami so it's gonna have to be some cyber harrasment.

what's the verdict?

That sounds like a pretty good place to start. Send them the evidence that he is asking about hacking. They probably wouldn't appreciate that.

Yeah, that sounds good for starters. Keep whatever you do legal. You don't want to fuX0r yourself in the process if you get nabbed for trying to hack him or something.

Also, document EVERYTHING. If it comes down to filing charges, you'll have a much better case against him if you can show that he's done this and that.
