You're an idiot. If you become her friend, your chances of it becoming more increase tenfold.

Friend zone = No sexual attraction on her part (unless she's dumb/ugly and gives you more than a few encounters to advance the relationship).

no necessarily...but if she ever says outright "I think of you as just a friend" that precludes benefits.

In between relationships I have a lot of 'friends', everyone should. It's common now but not talked about because 'sex is evil' or whatever.

In defence, no not all of these chicks were 10's or even fine. They were just fun and had no strings attached. They weren't butt ugly though and knew how to be discrete.

Are you one of those people who doesn't take 'no' for an answer and continues to try to seduce your target long after she's told you she's not interested?

"I think of you as a friend" is about as clear a message of disinterest as she can say without being flat out rude.

Normally, yeah, that would kill it. But if she's calling HIM, that's a different story.

Ditto, it's people like him that give us a bad name.

Now if you weren't enjoying your friendship with her that seems like a perfectly reasonable reason to let her go.

But because of sexual purposes? That is a lowly thing to do and I hope it comes back and hits you in the rear.

Very admirable!

You sound like you know about Ladder Theory and why this sh** is happening.

She just need to emotionally feed off you, and brag you with her problems, and let you serve her as a willing puppy (such as doing her homework and help her with anything you do better than her).

That's really interesting, someone spent a lot of time on that.

1) I don't owe her anything. I'm not her boyfriend.

2) "I'm looking for a girlfriend... not a friend."

Good, that's what girls have girlfriends for.

Way to be upfront. Either put out or shut up

On the other hand, a lot of people who have been married for many years will tell you they married their best friend.

Just a thought...

i can't blame the OP. when you are looking for a GF you do not want a friend. sometimes you need to say what you want.

I don't think this applies here.

You did the right thing, OP.

It's always better to be confident and to know what you want and not be afraid to do it or say it.

If you get the girl, people think you're "the man".

If you don't, people say you're "a jackass".

Don't change your attitude one bit. Chicks like confident men.

Good job, no need torturing yourself with this girl when you know what you want.

My best friends sister said to a guy, "I think we should just be friends". He said "I've already got enough friends, no thanks." and hung up on her.

They got married.

Friendship is two-way road, I think in this case it would have been one way, she reap the benefits.
