I work at a callcenter, which is basically a 90% sausagefest. So you can imagine how it is when we see girls around here, let alone hot ones.
Approximately 2 weeks ago, I was in a training class for a week and on my way out to lunch with one of my co-workers one day, we intercept this new hire in HR. We both walked past her, she smiled and we smiled then we both said "OMFG who was that?!!" Yeah she was that hot.
Basically we have no time to go around the company and find out who this girl is. I mean after all, who are we kidding right? Callcenter techs = on phone leash. I talk to the receptionst a few times to find out who this girl is. She's been working in HR as the recruiter's assistant for about 3 weeks prior. I forget about her.
Fast forward to today: I'm sitting here waiting for some calls to come in. My boss comes by and tells me that this girl is going to sit with me and listen to some calls to help her in screening people for the job. At this point, I nearly sh!t my pants (along with everyone else in my area who now hate my guts), but I keep my composure.
We greet and sit and talk for a bit, I crack a few jokes here and there. After about 40 mins, she's done taking down her questions and she has to go (damn it, why didn't I just take my time when answering her questions--I was nervous).
I am usually a monster when I take calls (yes I am that good), but when I was on this one, I remoted into the caller's computer and I couldn't type. I had trouble keeping my train of thought.
Anyways, yeah I'm pathetic. Do you guys think it's a sign that I should ask her to lunch or something? Ask my boss for more info? She knows the recruiter and boss is real tight with me. Again, this NEVER happens at this callcenter EVER (I've asked people who have been here for 10 years).

Update: Towards the end of the day, my coworkers come over to curse me for having the girl sit with me. This other manager comes over today and asks me, "So how did you like yesterday with the girl? (smiles at me)." We talk about work and I asked some questions about the girl; he says he will find out more info and that it's A-OK since she is in another department. He then says, "Don't worry, you're going to be seeing a lot of her in the near future." I wonder what he meant by that.
