YAGT: age difference

Not a problem at all.

I'm 28, wife is 23. Seems to be working out.

With that said, it wouldn't work for everyone. A mature guy who wants to more-or-less settle down dating a still-in-party-party-every-weekend-mode college girl probably wouldn't work. It's about where you are in life experience and if you're on the same page -- not necessarily about years.

I'm 31 and my fiance is 25.

The only weird part about it is when I talk about my parents watching Barney Miller and stuff like that. She just looks at me like I'm a fossil.

It's all relative. Is the difference a problem for you?

BINGO.

There is no ideal age really, there is an ideal maturity level which is loosely tied to age.

MY GOD MAN, SHE BARLEY OUT OF HER DIAPERS! WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU!?!?!
You can at least wait till she has been off her mother's teet for a few months before tapping that cant you?!?!?!?
You sicko pervert pedophile mother ****** 😛

HAHAHAHA 😉 that is awesome!

...and Yeah, I agree, "you fossil" 😉 j/k j/k

I don't think that's too much of a difference in age. Whether or not it will work out depends more on both of your levels of maturity, than it does on your ages.

Golden Rule says you're good.

I can't believe this thread made it that far before someone got to it. That was the first thing I did on reading the thread.

I'd say it's a go, just make sure that your personalities and outlooks on life at the moment are a good enough match.
