Guy is 21, girl is 17. Girl is very mature, mother seems okay with it, father... not so sure...

Worth starting a relationship?

No pics sorry, maybe tomorrow.

I doubt that's going to work out. You are presumably going to be out of college/working and she is probably going to be in college/partying.

There are exceptions, I guess.

21 / 2 + 7 = 17.5

But, if the father isn't sure and since she isn't legal you're probably best keeping it at friends for a while.

At least find one who is done with High School and does not live with her parents

Let's say the girl is trustworthy and mature in a relationship. Worth it?

There's no such thing as mature 17 y.o. Perhaps less immature compared to her peers. You are just showing that you are not mature either. Anyway, age difference is minimal, don't worry, enjoy, fresh tasty meat.

If the day ever comes where a 21 year-old shows up at my doorstep to pick-up my 17 year-old daughter...AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Guess it will be time to start answering the door while sharpening my knives and cleaning my gun.;)

Ehh. Maybe, but she'd have to be like perfect. And how well her family deals with it would be a big factor too.

must round up, so the half + 7 rule is violated

It's bad enough the "dogs" have been coming from miles around since my daughter turned 13 - I don't even want to think in these terms at the moment.

Thank you for the help :( I was supposed to meet her tomorrow, I will not be going. I will explain to her that I am too old and she will understand.

This really sucks though, the girl is really awesome. I know this may sound stupid, but I feel as if she'll be in the top 5 most awesome girls I'll ever meet. I know it sounds stupid, but I have a weird feeling. Considering who I am, what I look like, I'm almost certain I won't find someone like that again :( Life can be so harsh.
