There is one thing I just don't get about the whole confidence thing - how are you supposed to be genuinely confident about yourself knowing that there are many guys out there better than you? No matter what trait about yourself you are proud of - money, looks, intelligence, etc., there is always someone out there who is better than you at it. Unless of course you really are the best of the best - i.e., a pro athlete, famous actor, etc.
So how are you supposed to act confident knowing there are tons of people out there better than you at any ability/trait you could imagine? It seems to me confidence is just a feeling of well being derived from knowing you are better than the other guys out there, giving you a better shot at being sucessful with women. Considering that statistically, most guys are not the very best at these things, how are they supposed to feel confident knowing that there are so many people better than them out there?
It almost seems like you have to put on an act if you aren't close to the best at something.
