By his gonna be ex-wife. The wife asked him to sell the old house and buy a new one. He thinks thats a good idea with the low interest rates and stuff and gets a better house. Wife then tells him that shes gonna divorce him. He talks to a lawyer and it doesnt look good. Since he has kids, the wife will get the house + alimony + child support + he will have to pay for another house/apt for himself. Might as well just shove his a$$ into the air and tell her to stick it in deep.

Man sometimes being a married guy with kids sucks donkey b@lls.

Sucks how the husband always gets screwed in a divorce. But I have seen some go the other way, a good lawyer is the key. If this lawyer is already telling him he is going to loose everything, I'd look for another lawyer.

I agree, b*tches have way to much control over the man in these situations. What sucks is that this law was made when women were generally thought of as home makers, but ladies have the chance to make every bit as much money a male can now.

Law should REALLY be changed, it's horribly unfair at this point.

Have him document everything - the fact of her suggestion and evidence of premeditation seems as though it could make a huge impact in divorce hearings.
 
I told him he needs a better lawyer, but he said because of the kids he doesnt wan't to draw this out. Funny how the mom gets custody but doesnt think anything of the kids while the dad gets screwed yet he thinks of the kids and whats best for them...

yep and she'll still tell the kids hes a deadbeat ahole. women really show their nasty side in divorces. poor kids. best of luck to your friend.
