I was at Barnes and nobles about a week ago and I noticed this girl. Anyway, we spoke and what not and ended up exchanging numbers. I called her yesterday and we got some coffee and had a good conversation at a café near her place. After we go to her place and I notice childrens toys sprinkled throughout? turns out she has a kid, five years old, who happened to spending time at his grandparents house? I really didn?t think anything of it at the time because I was thinking with my reptilian brain? Anyway one thing leads to another, intimacy ensues?

Now the day after? I don?t know what the wisest course of action is...
She?s 24, single mom, with a kid and I?m 21, in college
I?m not really looking for a g/f in this point in time, but wouldn?t mind another FWB in my social circle?
Is it worth persuing, or am I asking for trouble?
And I don't have a pic...

edit More info
Thing is when I met her, I was just coming off work, in shirt and tie or whatnot... And when talking on the phone I told her that I work in the summer for a company doing fin. analytics... i don't know if this matters or not but...

Opinions?

What's the problem? You're not thinking long-term, and as long as she isn't either, then you're fine. I'd like to think that she realizes you're in college and you're just some guy wanting to get laid.

You can either elave her alone, or become a dad. Your choice. I think that the "run" advice was pretty good, personally.

you can talk to her about it, about how you don't want to commit.

or you could just assume she knows that you're a college kid that just wants to get some action. it doesn't matter either way, she probably doesn't want to marry someone in college without a job. you're safe until she starts talking about long term plans.

you get inimate with a girl and THEN wonder if it is worth persuing... ???

man, i must be old than I thought?

Nothing wrong with an indpendant single mom. They are strong, hard working and underappreciated. 🙂

Just be a jerk every now and then to make sure she doesn't get too attached.

You have much to learn, as this technique will make her want him even more....

Should have used your bigger head the moment you saw the toys. That would have been an easier situation. Maybe have a serious talk with her as to what each of you want.

If you value your future, RUN! There are plenty of girls in college who just want to have fun. For her, she's probably ready to settle down and frankly, you're too young to settle down.

WHY HAS NOBODY ASKED FOR PICS YET!!!!!!!!!!??????????get pics and hit it, report back.

she might just want a fwb relationship too...maybe seeing if there's anything more

OMG, WTF happens when you meet her kid some evening and he wonders to himself, staring up at you, what role you have in his life. What if you're still "dating" come Christmas, you gonna buy him a gift? Then you're gonna break it off with her some time and run into him at the mall and exchange glances as you pass and you'll want to tear your own arm off and bludgeon yourself to death with it.

What should you do? I don't know.

Leave before YOU get attached... right now you're sure you can easily leave her, but what if you start going out with this chick and slowly get attached? Then you'll be stuck with someone else's kid, and what if you end up paying child support because the kid gets attached to you etc...

RUN!!!
