Yet another gas price thread.

Funny, but not.

How much do you pay for gas now, and where do you live?

EDIT: I live in Los Angeles, CA and yesterday I paid $2.11/gallon.

Ha, that's great. Here in CT, 87 octane is around $1.75/gal, but I'm sure it won't be long before it reaches the $2.00 mark.

I still value a gallon of gas at more than $4 a gallon. It does so much work. So I see no major panic except price shock for a while.

Just filled up with 87, my engine is low compression so 87 is fine. Payed $1.64/gal. I have a 16 gal. so it costs me almost $30 to filler-up! Did I mention I only get 14 mpg?

Gas prices are going up? Too bad, suck it up. The gas prices are only there because the market will bear it. If you don't like it, get a smaller car or take the bus
