I've heard people say that they do, but I have to disagree. There has been at least one occassion where a gay man was obviously hitting on me, but never has one sat down with me and a set of pamphlets to explain the virtues and benefits of being gay. For some reason, I have this feeling that a lot of people fear that gay people are out to "turn" straights. I've heard people say as much.
Of course, your answer to this question partly depends on whether or not you believe that people can choose to be gay. Thats not what I'm asking here. I guess its kind of similar to a guy trying to wear down a hot chick's defenses to the point that she will eventually give in to his advances - do gay people do the same thing to straights? Again, I don't think so (in general - there will always be specific instances of this happening).
The results of the poalllee will tell how ATOT thinks.
