Looking to get a leather sectional and have decided between these two:

West Elm
Be ordering Set 2
+Modular and can be used in different configurations and separates
+Low and can be placed against windows
- Not interlockable, free floating
- Back support

IKEA
Will also order the matching ottoman
+Less Expensive
+Interlockable
+Provides a bit more back support
-Less configurable and larger

As you can tell, I'm into the simple modern look. I'm leaning towards the West Elm sectional. It's more versatile and the leather has smoother/richer feel.

I like the west elm as well. The Ikea looks good too but I like the ability to change configuration as you mentioned.

The first one just feels more modern to me from the pics and I like that. Im feeling those legs on there too thats unique.

buying used. there's a lot of people selling used
stuff, and it's a buyer's market.

my neighbor sold a beige leather full size sofa,
in good condition (i did not perform any close-up
exams for fleas) for $35 at a garage sale this
last summer. i got the impression that they were
hurting financially and had to move.
