Nah, Peyton will choke in the big game.

However, I wouldn't be surprised if they had a perfect season, 16-0.

Of the last 5 teams that started their season 8-0 or better, only 2 went on to win the S0uper Bawl. Colts will lose in the AFC championship game by 2 TDs.

i'm just glad the Superbowl is in Detroit. looking forward to enjoying the festivities from across the river. this city (Windsor) is actually providing a lot of the hospitality. so if anyone ends up over in Windsor, look me up and we'll go for a couple beers.

edit: btw, Ford Field is a magnificent facility.

It's a toss-up IMO. Either Payton will choke or Edge will fumble the game away.

I like how these young people come in and think they understand football. The fact is that you have 22 people on the field and any 1 guy is a little less than 10% of the team. When you're dealing with those kinds of numbers, one guy may not do his job and cost the team big plays, or worse yet points. There are sooo many possibilities that the old sayings, "Any given Sunday" and "Football is a game of inches" will always hold true. You never know who is going to win a football game, especially if you ever watched Elway do some of his amazing comebacks. It just takes the right mix of finesse, luck, and play-calling. To put it simply.....Football isn't a science, so you can't predict its outcome.

I remember there was one year when the Vikings had the best offense period and went 15-1 during the regular season (the only loss coming to a struggling Bucs team :D). They lost in the NFC championship to an inferior Atlanta team.

FWIW, I am rooting for the Colts. Not because of Peyton, Edge, or Marvin, but because I want to see Dungy get a ring.
