1) Is it possible the NY Football Giants will go 0-16?
2) Is it possible the NY Football Giants will allow over 600 points?
3) Is it possible the NY Football Giants have that many worthless defensive players?
4) Is it possible the NY Football Giants have assembled the worst coaching staff in League history?
5) Is it possible Giants fans will soon be taking to wearing paper bags over their heads, reminiscent of the Saints fans back when?
6) Is is possible the NY Football Giants will decide to get cheerleaders working the sidelines since the team isn't worth watching when you go to the games?
7) Is it possible Eli Manning's career will parallel his dad's, as he toils for a decade on the worst team in the NFL?
8) Is it possible the NY Football Giants will sneak out of The Meadowlands under cover of darkness, move to Detroit, and replace the original Lions as the laughingstock of professional sports?
9) Is it possible for the NY Football Giants to play a game without at least one player receiving a season ending injury? And
10) Is it possible that Giants fans are already looking ahead to next April's college draft and the overall number one pick?

I hope the old dopes that own this team look outside the good ol' boy network and hire someone young and innovative from the college ranks. This team needs an infusion of youth and positive energy.

The sad thing is that our offense is actually real good. Our defense is just that bad. If they quit playing soft they would be better. But im already thinking whose coming out in the draft that would be awesome for us. I think we need to use Jacobs or Ward as trade bait for someone on defense.

"The NY Football Giants" sounds weird to me. How about NY Giants Football, and yes...suckage noted, but I'm standing by them because I'm not a fair weather fan.

And the Yankees won last night so all is not lost. :D

Its NY Football Giants because there used to be a NY baseball team called the Giants as well.

And yes, the Giants suck. Sorry.

Giants made a huge mistake by trading Philip Rivers for Sheli Manning. Rivers was the best QB in college football during their careers, and he'll always be better than Sheli.

Of course, they have lots of other problems besides QB, too.

What, you don't think Eli for Rivers, Merriman, and Kaeding was a good trade

Eli is not the reason for the Giants problems this year, he's played very well.
Of course it wouldn't hurt to have Merriman. :p

That trade is not the reason for the troubles of the Giants right now.

Eli is fine. And how anyone can be touting the virtues of Philip Rivers after his woeful and embarrassing performance last night, well, I suspect you're a heavy drinker.
No, the problem with this team is, one, Tom Coughlin and his assembled buffons that make up the coaching staff;
two, the retirement of Tiki Barber and the Giants thinking Brandon Jacobs was the answer; and three, not one of their back seven on defense belongs on an NFL roster as a starter.

Brandon Jacobs may indeed be the answer, nobody can possibly know yet.

Is Eli a *bad* QB? No. Neither is Rivers - he played bad last night on the road against the best team in the league, what do you expect? He did make the pro bowl last year, more than Eli can say. At this point, I can say I'd take Rivers over Eli, but not by a HUGE margin...what I CAN say is that without a doubt I'd take Rivers, Merriman, and Kaeding over Eli. In a heartbeat, and anyone who wouldn't is more than just a heavy drinker.

You're right though, Brandon Jacobs is trash and I'm amazed anyone thought otherwise. He's a bigger Troy Hambrick, and that didn't exactly work out for Dallas in the post-Emmitt world.

In one sentence you make excuses for Rivers by saying he was playing a tough team on the road, so what can one expect. In the next sentence you are praising him because he was nominated to the Pro Bowl, (which is nothing more than a popularity contest ever since the League was foolish enough to allow the fans to vote).
You can't have it both ways, Deeko. If he is truly an elite, Pro Bowl caliber player, being on the road against a tough opponent is exactly when the great players rise to the occasion.
And with Rivers supporting cast, he has no excuses whatsoever. Other then he is a mediocre QB. Not awful, mind you. I mean, he isn't Joey Harrington. I suspect that a poll of 32 NFL GM's would result in about 29 choosing Manning over Rivers right now.
And Brandon Jacobs isn't trash, either. He's a short yardage, goal line RB who, for some reason, the Giants braintrust believe can be an every down, 25 carry per game player. Ain't so.

He played a bad GAME. I said you can't overlook a good season by one bad game against a tough team. You trying to tell me that the great QBs have never played bad games? And his supporting cast includes a great RB and TE, but terrible WRs, its not like he has the Colts offense around him. Obviously a good offense, but are you saying he has no excuses to play a bad game? Come on dude. Again, its close between Rivers and Eli, but when you include everything the Giants gave up in that trade, its a landslide.

That's what I meant about Jacobs. To expect him to be a sole back is insane.
