i was sitting at a stop light yesterday with my friend not really paying much attention to what was going on since the light was red.
i was driving, my position was at the front of the line to turn left, and little did i know the fuzz was right behind me.
for a reason unknown to me or my friend, i decided to just go. the light was still red, there was no reason to think it was green yet, and i just went. half way through the intersection i realized i was being a moron but it was too late. i had to just finish going. also, right at that same time, i realized who was behind me.
i drove about 300 feet and just pulled over. he wasnt there yet...he was waiting for the light to turn green before he pulled me over, but i was hoping since i pulled over and didnt make him chase me that it would help in some way...
he walked up, and this is what was said:
Fuzz: hello gentlemen. what on earth were you thinking?
Me: honestly, i have no idea why i just did that. i know it was red.
Fuzz: (laughing) ive done that once or twice myself, but never when a cop was around!
my friend: yeah that was pretty stupid
Fuzz: (laughing) im satisfied with a warning this time but next time be a little more patient
Me: thanks officer. sorry about that.
Friend: you arent going to give him a ticket?
Me: stfu n00b
keep in mind my rear right taillight is also busted. i ordered a new one from dodge but it wasnt in yet. i was 100% sure i was going to get a ticket for running the red light and about 50% sure id get one for the busted tailight.
thanks, officer! i definitely deserved a ticket for doing something so stupid!
