Finally hit a starting goal of mine from when I started lifting. Did 3 sets, 5 reps with 100 pounders. Gonna have to move over to the bar now. I put up 205 on the bar just once afterwards, so fresh I should be able to rep it out. Next goal, my bodyweight (~215-220).

My medium term goals are 300 on bench, 300 on squats (doing 3x5x255 now), and 400 on deadlifts (3x5x325 now). Maybe within the next year on all 3.

I'm too lazy to google, and my HP 33s is out of reach.

What's 100lbs in real weight?

Around 45KG

Hmm, that's right, our weights have both 44lbs and 10Kgs on them

Very nice indeed ;)

I'm up to 20Kg on either side of the bar (when i started ~two months ago i topped out at 12.5Kg on either side ), making sure and steady progress (i think )...

As long as it is progress, thats all that matters. Keep going up and up untill you flatline, then try something else.

Btw, conversions with Google are ungodly easy.

"100 lbs to kg" was my search string.

I have no idea what kind of rate of progress i should be making, but as soon as i can bust out an easy 8 or so on a weight, i kick it up 2.5Kg on either side, repeat.

I was doing that at 10's for a while, but now I've decided to move all of my core lifts to sets of 5's. Eventually I'll switch it back and drop weight.

I'm on 100KG (220lbs) for the benchpress - 4x6 reps, 115 (253lbs) for the squats - 4x6 reps and only 100KG deadlift - 4x5 reps as i just stsrted this a couple of months ago.

My progress is slowing down some now but i only go to the gym once a week so i can't moan much really!

Nice! That's very impressive with dumbells. My wrists hurt just thinking about that. Most I ever got up to was 60's. (but I only weighed 170 pounds too @ 6')

55 to 100 in 6 months? GREAT SUCCESS. You take any supplements to help you out? Probably staying clear of alcohol would have a good impact, but thats a huge increase.

lol SVT Cobra, I was waiting for you to chime in. Anyways, thats as high as our DB's go, so yup, time to move to a bar.

HammerCurl, I'm currently taking a controlled labs stack. White Flood/Purple Wraath/Green Magnitude, pretty good stuff as far as I can tell.

Also Real Gains/Animal Flex/AST 32x, according to SVT Cobra need some fish oil :p

Good stuff. I am particuarily not a fan of CL because they pimp their products to death...but they work well for the money.
