I'm desperately thin on running back. I drafted Steven Jackson & Deuce McCallister in 2 of my first four rounds. I'm starting guys like Brian Leonard, Earnest Graham, and the hot waiver pick up for the week (Kenton Keith, Jason Wright, etc.). My only full time starting RB is Kevin Jones!

but i'm 4-2 right now mainly thanks to Randy Moss. I've got decent depth at receiver with Moss, Calvin Johnson, Kevin Curtis, and Patrick Crayton. A guy is proposing to trade me Cedric Benson for either Curtis or Crayton. Should I pull the trigger? Benson isn't that great but at least he's a healthy full time starting running back.

yes. definitely. Benson has looked bad, but Curtis has been inconsistent, and his big games were flukes because of terrible coverage and tackling. Crayton has looked better than he is too. Try to figure out what Terry Glenn is going to do this season, if he comes back Crayton will lose playing time, if not his starting job.

i'd make that trade.
benson does suck, but he's gotta be more of a sure bet than those two hit or miss WRs
there are very few WRs you can count on week in and week out to score points and Crayton & Curtis are not two of them.

When Glenn comes back they should use him in the slot...but they probably wont. So, take that into consideration if you trade Curtis.

Take Benson... and get rid of Curtis - take it from an Eagles fan, Donovan McNabb looks horrible, so "White Lightning" will have some huge games, but mostly slow and non-productive games. The main guy on that team is Brian Westbrook, and Donovan's performance has been so mediocre both Curtis and Brown are far from sure starters.

Ugh.. Benson isn't much better than those Waiver Wire backs you have been picking up.

Benson has been moderately consistent. He hasn't had big games, but he's getting the ball and atleast putting up SOMETHING every week. I'd trade curtis for benson.

Curtis for Benson, definitely. You will never know what Curtis will do: he might get 10 for 207 or 2 for 34.
